The best way for Riverwatch volunteers and other interested Hoosiers to learn about upcoming training workshops, conferences, grant opportunities, and resources related to water quality and volunteer water monitoring is to register for our listserv!
Hoosier Riverwatch Announcements to All Volunteers - The purpose of this list is to share information pertaining to Indiana water quality, rivers, and watersheds, and to notify participants of upcoming events and opportunities related to volunteer water quality monitoring. Only Hoosier Riverwatch staff can send messages to this list. The "dnr-hrw all" list will generally have one or fewer messages per week.
Hoosier Riverwatch Educators - This list is used to share information pertaining to upcoming events and opportunities (including grants) related to volunteer water quality monitoring of interest primarily to Hoosier Riverwatch educators. This list also provides a forum for participants to discuss ideas about utilizing the Riverwatch program with youth. Any participant subscribed to the list can send messages to the entire list, and replies will be distributed to the entire list after being approved by Hoosier Riverwatch staff. (Note: This list is separate from "dnr-hrw all" list, to which only Riverwatch staff may send messages.)
